More than 200 participants completed the AgriCrops Production Training conducted by East-West Seed Foundation, Inc. in partnership with Villar Social Institute for Poverty Alleviation and Governance (SIPAG). Senator Cynthia Villar led the graduation ceremony together with East-West Seed's General Manager Henk Hermans, and East-West Seed foundation's Managing Director Bing Van Tooren and Executive Director Crisanto Sabino.
The 12-week vegetable production training program is composed of different modules on vegetable production from the basics of vegetable growing such as land preparation and seed sowing, up to the record-keeping of harvests. There will be a total of three (3) cycles of training for the whole year of 2019.
