The East-West Seed Foundation, in collaboration with the Villar Foundation, is currently hosting a 4-day Training of Trainers (TOT) event. The initiative targets 42 enthusiastic farmers and homeowners association from diverse regions, including NCR (specifically QC, Tondo, Las Piñas), Region 3 (Pampanga), Regions 4A and 4B (Marinduque), and Region 5 (Camarines Sur).
Held at the Villar SIPAG Farm School in Bacoor, Cavite, the training commenced on February 13 and will continue until February 16, 2024. This concerted effort reflects the Villar Foundation's dedication to expanding the network of farm schools and advancing agricultural tourism sites nationwide. The collaborative efforts of both foundations aim to empower individuals in the agriculture sector and contribute to the sustainable development of the farming community.
