Growing Together: VeggiEskwela VeggieTech Training in SJDM Bulacan

The partnership between Villar Foundation and East-West Seed Foundation continues to bloom with the successful conduct of the VeggiEskwela VeggieTech Vegetable Production Training last July 8–9, 2025 at the Villar Farm School in San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan.

A total of 33 participants—primarily farmers and members of various associations from across Central Luzon—joined the two-day training. This initiative served as a valuable opportunity to deepen their knowledge on modern and sustainable vegetable production techniques. The program featured a combination of lectures and interactive, hands-on sessions that allowed participants to directly apply what they learned in the field.

The training aimed to empower local farmers with practical skills and up-to-date technologies in vegetable farming that can help increase productivity, improve crop quality, and support long-term food security. Through this initiative, the Villar Foundation and East-West Seed Foundation reaffirmed their shared commitment to supporting Filipino farmers and strengthening the country’s agricultural communities.
